31 Day Challenge, Days Fourteen and Fifteen: Delicately Printed Flowers

So when i began my nails for this design i realized that this was not only a lovely flower design but also very delicate looking. I used Julep's Oxygen Treatment as the base, it's the perfect jelly pink. Also helps to prevent pesky yellowing that comes with excessive polishing.

31 Day Challenge, Day Twelve: Stripes

My stripes! I'd used simple nail tape for this design after two solid coats of Essie's-"Blanc".

31 Day Challenge, Day Seven: Black & White

So here you will see everything I used to make this look possible, I remember the days when all I used was one bottle of polish... Sigh Lol.

The colors I used are Essie- "Blanc"Essie- "Licorice", stamping polish Konad- "Black" and "White" with my lovely Bundle Monster Plates. Once I stamped my middle and ring fingers I felt everything was unfinished soooo I freehanded the half moons.

Happy polishing!

What's the deal with Nail Foil?!

So i think nail foils r glorious- simply because they look brilliant and it's and easy way to get a glorious sometimes intricate design. That being said i have to say i am truly disappointed with the longevity of the wear.

First try:
Base coat: Essi- "Blanco"
I used two top coats, Sally Hansen- "Invisible 100" and then a layer of Seche Vite. Seche Vite by itself led to wrinkling and Sally Hansen by itself just doesn't last.

the Nail Foil

Second Try:

Base Coat Julep- "Teresa Boho Glam"

Day one, I actually prefer this base coat to the stark white

Day two!

Day Two!

I usually change my polish so frequently I don't care if  they last long, but I definitely expected more than a day,  maybe another print would be better. Until next time!

iPhone iNspiration

The title alone speaks for itself. Im trying to work up the courage to begin the 30-day nail challenge, so to kick of the New Year I had this idea to replicate my iPhone's case.

As a by product of this post I've 100% decided I'm going to stick with Seche Vite as my go-to top coat. I decided to give Orly a try and as you can see on my pinky, smudges galore. Which is pretty similar to what happened when I tried Essie's top coat. So word to the wise, when you want to keep it clean- stick with Seche Vite.

Season's Greetings!

Ok, I know I'm a lil bit past the "season" BUT the "season" is what inspired my two following Bundle Monster designs. I adore nail stamping, I don't know what other type of nail art provides the same level of versatility and ease!

Stamping Leaves a Great First Impression!

Every time I think I have a favorite nail design style I discover something new and decide instantly that THIS must be the greatest thing ever. At least until tomorrow when I see something else that grabs my attention. Thats what happened with nail stamping, so many options, so easily done and only so many fingers!

Sometimes things ARE Black or White... or both.

Happy Election Day!

I wish I could say I was inspired to do something a bit more patriotic but hopefully my happy flag makes up for my lack of red, white and blue.

What I used: Essie- "Marshmellow"; Konad- "Black"; and Nails Inc; "Electric Lane"; Seche Vite- Top Coat

Base coat

"Electric Lane" applied to half my nail as the base for my BM stamp

I was trying to capture the glitter under my nail stamp, it's better in person.

Top Coat and done!

 Thanks for reading!!
